- Lean-To / Sunlounge
Invoking a time of simple elegance and luxury, the Edwardian Conservatory lends itself to both modern and traditional houses.
The Victorian Conservatory combines the sharp angles of the roof panels with the softer, rounded construction of the side panels.
The Georgian conservatory harkens back to a time when conservatories were the privilege of palaces and stately homes.
Lean-To / Sunlounge
A new take on an old classic, the lean-to/sunlounge conservatory is the perfect space saver, and is perfect for dining or relaxing.
An orangery is a stylish and space saving way to open up your home, utilising the warmth of the sun with the feeling of an indoor room.
Each and every timber conservatory that we construct is hand-crafted to perfection in our Penzance joinery workshop, positioned only a stone’s throw away from the sea. All of the conservatories that we produce here are made individually to order from specially-selected timbers.
When we source the timber used in our products, we deal only with suppliers that promote sustainability by offering FSC or PEFC certified timbers. We only ever work with timber that is completely solid, and we never use timber with engineered or veneered components.
We primarily work with sapele hardwood as our timber of choice, as it has excellent durability for use in external joinery which it owes to its fine-knit grain. Our other timber of choice is joinery grade European redwood, which contains fewer knots than some lesser grades of softwood. If you’d like to see the types of timber that we generally work with and find out more about them, then you can do so here.
All of the high performance timber windows that we produce and use in our timber conservatories have undergone and passed the most rigorous of testing in accordance with air and water permeability requirements. The traditional flush casement and box sash timber windows that we produce and use in our timber conservatories outperform many past designs due to the hardware and weather seal used.
The ironmongery used across our range of timber conservatories offers a very high level of security as standard, but we’re also able to offer additional security features should you feel that you require them.
Everything that we create at TimberPlus, from our timber windows to our timber conservatories, is supplied in the raw timber state as standard – because we’re extremely confident in the quality of finish of each and every product that comes out of our joinery. Our experts are able to offer a wide selection of finishes for your timber conservatory, from simple priming to a full factory spray and factory glazing in colours of your choice.
